In the EDC15C2 ECU used in Peugeot’s & Citroen’s there is a possibility that you can not clear the error memory after a certain amount of clearings anymore. There is a counter in the ECU that is incremented each time an error memory is cleared. Once it reaches it maximum it is no longer possible to clear the error messages again. Until of today we don’t see the purpose of this counter. After some observations in the memories of the ECU we have found the location of the counter and can reset it. Once reset you are able to clear the error memory again of your Peugeot / Citroen car equipped with EDC15C2 ECU.

Besides error code clear counter we have found a way to completely disable the DPF / FAP additive injection system of these vehicles.
